Students win big in Wellness Center programs

Toward the end of fall semester, the Wellness Center offered three chances for students to win big with e-Chug, UST Planner suggestions and Passport to the Twin Cities.

Nearly 40 students took the e-Chug survey – an interactive Web survey that allows college and university students to receive feedback about their alcohol use compared to local and national norms. (Check it out at the Wellness Center Web site.)

Students who took the survey submitted their completion certificates to the Wellness Center, and a random winner was chosen to receive a $100 Target gift card for their participation. Jojo Nemec was the lucky winner.

Students also were asked to give feedback and suggestions on ways to improve next year’s UST Planner. More than 200 students contributed opinions and ideas. Laura Beshire was selected at random to receive a $50 Target gift card.

The largest prize went to a student who participated in the Passport to the Twin Cities program. Throughout fall semester, students explored the Twin Cities, attended events on campus and had their passports stamped at each of the participating businesses and events. Students turned in their passports before the break, and Wendy Lor won a drawing worth $500 to the campus Bookstore.

The Wellness Center says: "Thanks for your participation, and keep looking for opportunities to win with the Wellness Center!"
