Dr. Sally Power will sign copies of her new book, The Mid-Career Success Guide
Dr. Sally J. Power, management professor in the Opus College of Business at St. Thomas, will sign copies of her new book, The Mid-Career Success Guide: Planning for the Second Half of Your Working Life, on Tuesday, March 13, in Schulze Hall auditorium, Minneapolis campus.
She will give a presentation from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., with a cocktail reception and book signing from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
"Most people realize that the employment deal has changed: the days of lifetime employment or even a clear trajectory up the corporate ladder are long gone. Education, hard work and loyalty are no longer enough to guarantee job security," Power said.
