Dr. Carroll Gonzo invites students to audition for Women’s Choir

From Dr. Carroll Gonzo
Chiuminatto Distinguished Professor of Research in Music Education

The Women’s Choir meets from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays in the choir room, Room 30, Brady Educational Center. Membership includes free fine arts credit and free voice lessons for freshmen.

The choir is made up of singers from auditioned freshmen through seniors, primarily all non-music majors but with some public or private school music background. We sing from five to six concerts a year of music from many genres and foreign languages.

If you are interested in registering for the fall semester, I will need to visit with you and conduct a brief audition, all of which would take about 10 minutes. My office is in Room 101, Loras Hall, and you can arrange an appointment with me via e-mail or phone (651) 962-5832. Let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you.
