Discuss ‘Jerry McGuire’ film at Business at the Movies event tonight
Business at the Movies, a film-and-discussion event, will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 20, in Room 126, John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts. Take a break from studying by joining College of Business faculty in viewing and discussing how business relates to the movie “Jerry McGuire.”
In this movie, Tom Cruise plays Jerry McGuire, a slick high-living sports agent who is tired of the shallowness of his profession and wants to live a more fulfilling, ethical life. But his new outlook doesn’t mesh with his agency’s ethics and he finds himself left with one ally, one client, and a long road ahead of him.
