A total of 15 students are in the Delta Sigma Pi fall pledge class. The pledges are: Garrett Engelhardt, Haakon Hansen, Kelli Hanson, Lindsay Hewitt, Madeline Kapler, Patrick McNeil, Stephen Milow, Charlie Peterson, Elle Plein, Kaila Severson, Tyler Shermer, Linda Shin, Britni Tokheim, Evan Welle and Kristen Wise.
The pledge class began with a team-building retreat at Camp Ihduhapi in Loretto, Minn. It meets weekly to learn more about what it means to be a brother in Delta Sigma Pi and to plan social and professional events. Throughout each week, pledges also interview brothers, fundraise and attend community service events.
By the end of the pledging process, the class hopes to grow as a team and achieve the following goals:
- To have all 15 of the pledges initiated
- To fundraise enough money to cover both dues and event expenses
- Form long-lasting casual and professional relationships with pledgemates and the current brothers in Delta Sigma Pi
