Dazy Head Mazy will perform at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, in Scooter’s.

The five-piece band started in Minneapolis in 1994. Their album, “They’re All Wearing Pearls,” was released in January 1998 and has sold over 8,000 copies.

Dazy Head Mazy has played on college campuses throughout the Midwest. They play over 200 shows per year sharing the stage with groups like The Gufs, The Honeydogs, Tina and the B-Side and Semisonic.

“Their well-oiled acoustic-rock is the sort of meat-and-potatoes bar-band fare that can turn a packed club into a party,” wrote Jim Walsh from the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

The group will head back into the studio this spring to start their second album, which is scheduled for release this fall.
