Date Changed for Talk by MPR Broadcast Journalist Speaker Ken Auletta Jim Winterer '71 November 4, 2010 Ken Auletta, author and media writer for The New Yorker magazine, will not speak the University of St. Thomas on Monday, Nov. 15, as previously scheduled.Ken AulettaThe New Yorker is sending Auletta out of the country on assignment, so his talk is rescheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2011, in the auditorium of O’Shaughnessy Educational Center on the university’s St. Paul campus.The program is part of Minnesota Public Radio’s 2010-2011 Broadcast Journalism Series. It is co-sponsored by St. Thomas’ College of Arts and Sciences and Communication and Journalism Department.Auletta is the author of 11 books; his most recent, Googled: The End of the Word as We Know It, was published in November 2009. In his March 3 talk, he will discuss how the digital era is changing news, media and entertainment.Minnesota Public Radio’s Broadcast Journalist Series, now in its 14th year, commissions renowned journalists for a 24-hour residency four times a year.
