CultureLink Tea: Minami Watanabe extends a 'Welcome to Japan'

Minami Watanabe, a first-year student from Japan, will speak at tomorrow's CultureLink Tea.

CultureLink Tea is a series of monthly presentations that feature different countries. During the program, which will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May, 4, in Room 155, Murray-Herrick Campus Center, Watanabe will present on her experience growing up, and life today, in Japan.

Through her "Welcome to Japan" presentation, participants will learn about Japan and its unique and rich culture, traditions and food, taste desserts, and have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussion. In addition to being a student, Watanabe works with the Classical Languages Department as a Japanese teaching assistant.

The event is free and open to all; tea and sweets will be provided.
