Credit Union offers a variety of savings accounts and loans St. Thomas Newsroom September 22, 1999 Membership in the St. Thomas Employee Federal Credit Union is a fringe benefit offered by the university to all its employees and their immediate family members.The credit union offers share (savings) accounts, a Christmas Club account, an AAUP dues account, other specialty accounts and various loans at competitive rates. Share accounts are insured up to $100,000 per account by the National Credit Union Administration, a U.S. government agency.To make both saving and loan-paying as painless as possible, automatic payroll deduction is available to all UST employees. Employees may start, stop or change the amount of a deduction by completing a payroll deduction authorization form, available at the CU office.Membership cards and information, payroll deduction forms and loan applications are available in a rack outside the CU office in Room 132, Christ Child Hall; this rack should be accessible at any time that the building is open. Or, request forms by calling (651) 962-6660.Credit Union hours are from 3 to 6 p.m. Mondays and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.To join the Credit Union or to learn more about available services, stop in during CU office hours or call (651) 962-6660 anytime and leave a message.
