Credit Union issues Christmas Club checks St. Thomas Newsroom November 2, 2009 Merry Christmas! The St. Thomas Employee Federal Credit Union will be issuing Christmas Club checks today to all members of the club. Christmas Club savers can pick up their checks from noon to 3 p.m. today, Monday, Nov. 2, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, at the credit union, Room 209, Loras Hall. Checks not picked up by Tuesday will be mailed to campus mail addresses. (Look for the green envelope.) Those with other delivery requests can e-mail or call the credit union, (651) 962-6660, with delivery details. Christmas Club checks contain all deposits made to the club account from Nov. 1, 2008, through Oct. 31, 2009, plus an annual dividend. The dividend rate declared by the credit union board is 1 percent, with a corresponding 1 percent annual percentage yield. Christmas Club deposits being made by automatic payroll deduction will continue for the 2010 club unless a change form is filled out.
