Help with company research is available weekly in Career Center

Job seekers often ask these questions:

  • Which companies hire people with career interests in my field?
  • How should I research the company with which I am interviewing to gather the right information?
  • How do I best use Web sites and databases to get the needed information?

After interviews, recruiters consistently have commented that student candidates "fell short" in knowledge of their companies.

To help students with company and career research, a reference librarian will be available from 3 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays in the Career Development Center, Room 355, Murray-Herrick Campus Center. Just stop by; an appointment is not needed.
