In this presentation, “Designing Nanomaterials for Disease Diagnostics,” the architecture, stability and surface chemistry of solution-phase gold and silver nanoparticles will be correlated to nanoparticle function for improved disease treatment strategies and for the direct detection of disease biomarkers.

Chemistry Seminars are held at 3 p.m. each Friday in Room 251, Owens Science Hall. The Department of Chemistry invites and encourages all to attend.
