UST Central Receiving is moving its operations to the Anderson Student Center dock to make way for the construction of the new Facilities-Engineering Building on the south campus. The Central Receiving Office will be located temporarily on the northeast corner of the Anderson Student Center.
On Monday, March 3, Central Receiving will begin receiving deliveries at the ASC dock instead of its south campus location at the north end of McCarthy Gym. Purchasing notified UST vendors of the change in location so that the delivery addresses could be updated.
The Ryan Companies will begin construction in March on the three-story, 28,000-square-foot building on the parking lot immediately north of McCarthy Gymnasium. Construction will be completed by September in time for the opening of the 2014-15 school year.
Questions about the change may be directed to the UST Physical Plant Office or to Bob Douglas, coordinator of UST Central Receiving.
