Musician Adam Levy will be at Scooter's on Monday evening to perform music from his latest album – which was inspired by the passing of his son by suicide in 2012 – and to help facilitate a discussion on mental health.
He was the father of Barbara Jo Stahl, adjunct faculty and off-campus coordinator of special education and gifted education, Department of Special Education and Gifted Education, and grandfather of Melissa Jaeger '03.
The eponymous hip-hop collective Doomtree – comprised of local artists Paper Tiger, Cecil Otter, Lazerbeak, Sims, P.O.S., Mike Mictlan and Dessa – will headline the event, which takes place 2-10 p.m. Oct. 3.
Each member will have a direct voice in deciding what the class gift will support, assist in rallying classmates to demonstrate their senior pride and help the Class of 2016 leave a lasting legacy at St. Thomas.

A pep fest will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in John P. Monahan Plaza to put all Tommies in the proper mood for Saturday’s St. Thomas-Saint John’s football showdown and a national television pre-game broadcast.
