The speaker, Imani Jafaar Mohammad, is an attorney who practices in the areas of business law and estate planning, including a specialty practice in Islamic estate planning. She has spoken nationwide on issues related to American Muslims.

The Exempt Staff Council has elected its officers and is asking exempt staff to complete a brief anonymous survey that will help inform where the council will spend its time and efforts for the next two years. A prize drawing is offered for completing the survey by Oct. 15.
