Construction will begin March 31 on a facilities and engineering building, with motorists able to enter or leave the south campus at Cretin and Grand avenues only if they park in the Anderson Parking Facility. Other vehicles will access the south campus from Summit Avenue.

Dave Nimmer will dearly miss the 92 St. Thomas employees who will retire in May, and in today’s Scroll he pays tribute to two of them – Tom Connery and Lynda McDonnell – who always have showed their pride and passion.
Ninety-two St. Thomas employees, including 70 staff members and administrators and 22 faculty members, have signed up for voluntary retirement incentive plans. A celebration to thank them for their years of service will be May 22.
Tuition rates will increase 3.9 percent this summer for undergraduate students – the second-lowest rate increase in 20 years – and an average of 3.0 percent for graduate students except for the School of Law, which will have no tuition increase.
