President Julie Sullivan urged St. Thomas faculty and staff on Tuesday to join her on an “imaginary exercise” during her second academic convocation address and boldly envision what the university will look like five to 10 years from now.

The first of four all-Bach concerts in churches on or near Summit will be broadcast live by MPR at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 15, in St. Mary’s Chapel on the seminary campus. From there, the party heads to the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas.
Every fall since 1999, the St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity Sons of Thunder go head to head with the St. John Vianney seminary JAXX for the Rectors' Bowl, with only one team returning to its seminary with the coveted Rector’s Trophy.
Sr. Katarina Schuth conducted her first significant research while completing her doctoral degree in cultural geography, which led to her dissertation, "Patterns of Literacy in Villages of South India." After months of preparing for field work, which entailed lugging volumes of "The Census of India" back and forth from the Syracuse University library to Minnesota, she finally was ready for the adventure of a lifetime.
