Free Career Fair and Career Services Center at Minneapolis Convention Center March 18 and 19

A Career Services Center and Career Fair will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center March 18 and 19 as part of the 26th annual Forum on Workplace Inclusion.

Both the center and fair are free. They are designed for professionals, those who hold or are pursuing a college degree, and veterans.

  • The Career Services Center is available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 19. The center offers workshops, one-on-one coaching, free editing and printing of resumes, and experts who specialize in working with veterans.
  • The Career Fair, featuring representatives from more than 50 Upper Midwest employers, runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 19. Those attending are invited to have their resumes reviewed by companies in advance. The companies are seeking professionals who hold or are working toward the minimum of a bachelor’s degree, college students, veterans, and professionals in business, engineering and information technology.

The Career Fair is sponsored by Cargill. The Forum, formerly known as the Multicultural Forum on Workplace Diversity, is sponsored by The Travelers Companies Inc. and presented by the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas.
