Career Development Center offers employment seminars for students

  • 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11
  • 3 to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13
  • 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16
  • Noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17
  • 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18

Interview Skills
In the Interviewing Skills seminar, students will receive tips on preparation and follow-up techniques, appearance, and selling yourself.  The seminars will take place at the Resource Center in the Career Development Center, Room 355, Murray-Herrick Campus Center, on the following dates and times:

  • 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11
  • 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17
  • 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18
  • 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19

Resume Writing and Job Seeking Letters
Students can learn how to write an effective resume, transfer experiences into marketable skills and find out how technology will affect the job search process in the Resume Writing and Job Seeking Letters seminar.  These seminars will be held at the Resource Center in the Career Development Center, Room 355, Murray-Herrick Campus Center, on the following dates and times:

  • 3 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11
  • 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17
  • 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18
  • 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19
