Colleges Against Cancer Meets Wednesday St. Thomas Newsroom September 21, 2011 Colleges Against Cancer is ready to kick it into gear again this fall. The student group will continue with its awareness and prevention events and will volunteer at Hope Lodge, a residence for cancer patients while receiving treatment. CAC’s main focus, however, is Relay for Life, a fun, all-night spring event that raises money for the American Cancer Society. CAC will hold its first meeting of the semester at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, in Room 155, Murray-Herrick Campus Center. Returning CAC members, relay participants who want to become more involved and all who have a passion for fighting cancer are welcome. For more information email Katie Tubbs.
