Building Community After Violence forum to be held Thursday

'Stop the Hate! Building Community After Violence' forum to be held Thursday

By Tasia Tigue, assistant director of Campus Life

In light of recent and tragic events across the nation, Campus Life, Residence Life and Multicultural Student Services will host a forum on Thursday, May 3, to talk about issues of violence and hate.

How can we face these issues together even though we may not have the same backgrounds or experiences?

Building community requires respect, understanding and most importantly communication. Your voice is important.

Please join us from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, May 3, in Room 203, O’Shaughnessy Educational Center. Those planning to attend are asked to meet at 11:45 a.m. in Room 111, Murray-Herrick Campus Center, the Campus Life Leadership Room, in order to walk to OEC together.

For more information contact Tasia Tigue, (651) 962-6195.
