” ‘Stubborn Refusal to be Small’: Women and Poetry,” a discussion led by Tracy Hyland, English Department, will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, in the Luann Dummer Center for Women, Room 103, O’Shaughnessy Educational Center. The event will be hosted by Dr. Ann Johnson, Psychology Department.
Hyland will discuss some women poets who have influenced her. She also will talk about her work as a writer. Refreshments will be provided.
This event is part of the Breakfast Talk series sponsored by the Women’s Studies program. The series features faculty discussing their research or creative work related to women and gender.
