‘Body Image’ topic for LINKAGES discussion today

The Office of Multicultural Student Services is sponsoring the upcoming LINKAGES Program for all UST students.

A general discussion on this month’s topic, "Body Image," will be moderated by several students and staff members.

The event will be held from noon to 1 p.m. today, Tuesday, April 9, in the Koch Commons Fireside Room.  Lunch will be provided.

Among the topics for discussion are:
What are acceptable and unacceptable body images?  Do these ideas vary between cultures?  What is too skinny or too fat?  Are there required standards to being considered attractive?

Everyone is encouraged to come share their stories and opinions.

The LINKAGES program was created to foster interaction between all members of UST’s diverse student population.  LINKAGES is for students only. No staff, faculty or administrators are allowed to attend, except for two assigned facilitators who help foster a discussion benefiting the educational and personal growth of all students.
