Giving blood is safe and simple. Now making your appointment to donate also is simple. Just go to the Wellness Center’s Web page and select the time slot that best fits your schedule.
The UST Blood Drive will be from 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, and from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, in Room 304, Murray-Herrick Campus Center. Allow about 45 minutes to complete the donation process. If you select a time that has fewer donors, you probably will get out faster.
If you’re at least 17 years old, weigh 110 pounds and in good health, you can give blood every 56 days.
The American Red Cross encourages new and previous donors to give this precious gift. The year’s blood drive is co-sponsored by the Wellness Center, Student Health Service and the UST Band Club.
