Benefit Christmas concert today in OSF library will assist Feed My Starving Children

St. Thomas students will host a benefit Christmas concert today, Tuesday, Dec. 15, in the O’Shaughnessy (“leather”) Room of the O’Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center.

The event will begin at 8 p.m. and will feature both student and local performers. Tickets are $5; all proceeds from the show will be donated to Feed My Starving Children.

This event is organized by UST students of the Music Business program. As a final class project, the students decided that it would be fitting to coordinate a benefit concert for Feed My Starving Children during the holiday season.

This nonprofit Christian organization focuses on volunteers – children and adults – who hand-pack meals specially formulated for the nutritional needs of children throughout the world who suffer from malnutrition and starvation. The meals are shipped to more than 60 countries.
