She has worked half time as an administrative assistant in Faculty Development and half-time in the Luann Dummer Center for Women since Oct. 25, 1999.
The award is presented in honor of Shelly Moorman, who taught Spanish at St. Thomas from 1968 until her retirement in 2004.
Mother Mary Clare ’01 didn’t come to the University of St. Thomas to major in Catholic Studies. She came to major in accounting. An older brother had attended St. Thomas and brought her to look at the campus. She knew that the school had a great business program and felt that it “fit the bill.” She was taking a step toward a far different future than the one she had planned.
Permits cost $65.
Five forums will be held today, and two will be held Thursday.

The Late Night Breakfast will be held following the Mass; sponsored by Student Affairs, students are invited for breakfast in The View, Anderson Student Center.
The review and study will guide St. Thomas and its new president in the coming years.
The UST Purchasing and Payables Department is the winner of the association’s Annual Recognition Award for Excellence in Procurement for 2011.
Permits will be sold to the first 60 eligible students to register.
Also performing are several vocal performance majors. Admission is free.
