Are you ready for the 'Challenge'? Want to 'Be the Change'?

Are you ready for the 'Challenge'? Want to 'Be the Change'?

From Campus and Residence Life

Are you ready for the "Challenge"?

Are you looking for an opportunity to "Be the Change" you
want to see on campus and in our world?

Join us for Challenge Day!

Multicultural Student Services, Campus and Residence Life, and the Luann Dummer Center for Women are excited to announce an event that will challenge you to reflect on UST’s core convictions, mission and mantra of “Challenge Yourself Change Our World.”

Challenge Day participants will engage in an experience through reflection, dialogue and writing to raise awareness of each person’s impact on his or her community.

UST faculty will facilitate team discussions about our own personal responsibility for creating a respectful environment, which in part requires all of us to know and consider multiple perspectives. Come prepared to learn and understand the power of our individual choices to not only "Be the Change" but also to understand other people’s perspectives on what needs to change in order to make the community better for everyone.

Challenge Day is an event that takes place over 24-hours that may change your life. The event starts with dinner and a speaker on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, and culminates with a lunchtime activity from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2008. The event includes dinner, speaker, event T-shirt and lunch activity. Students are invited to register (space is limited – first come, first served), in teams of four to six people, by Friday, Dec. 21.
