Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex Offers Three Fitness Classes Over J-Term Kelly Engebretson '99 M.A. January 3, 2011 The Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex will offer three group fitness classes during January Term. Two spinning classes and a yoga class will be offered, beginning Monday, Jan. 10, at the AARC.Spinning Do you love to work up a serious sweat and burn a lot of calories? Then Spinning is for you. In this one-hour class, participants simulate road cycling on stationary bikes while guided by an instructor and motivated by high-energy music.The class can accommodate up to 24 people.Spinning for Beginners Spinning for Beginners will be offered for those who are new and may be a little intimidated to try the workout. Participants will begin at an easy pace and pick up speed as the class goes on. They also will be given hands-on instruction on the first day of class.The class can accommodate up to 24 people.Yoga Unwind after a stressful fall semester or busy holiday season with yoga.
