The first Quantitative Methods and Computer Science Department colloquium this year will meet at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, in Room 275, Owens Science Hall. Anyone interested is invited.

Matthew Dettinger, a 1999 St. Thomas graduate now working at 3M, will speak about cryptography.

Refreshments will be served 10 minutes before the talk.
