Air Force ROTC has expanded its Express Scholarship Program during the 2000 spring semester. Express Scholarships cover tuition and books, and give cadets a $200 monthly subsidy. In addition to the outstanding benefits of the Air Force ROTC program in college, cadets are guaranteed a job after they graduate with a starting salary beginning at $31,000 plus medical and dental coverage and 30 days vacation with pay.
If you are in a qualifying major and you meet all eligibility requirements, such as passing a physical and physical fitness test, and have a GPA above 2.65 you could have a fully paid scholarship this semester.
Qualifying majors are:
chemistry, computer science, math, computer info systems, physics, meteorology, aeronautical engineering, aerospace engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, environmental engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, nuclear engineering, foreign area studies (example: East Asian studies), foreign language (example: Spanish, French, German, etc.)
