Will your NetID password expire during the Christmas break? If so, you will be able to change your password only if you have previously filled out your NetID challenge questions.

Information Resources and Technologies advises the campus community to change passwords prior to the Christmas break – if it has been a while since passwords were last changed – and to fill out the challenge questions. Passwords expire every 120 days. For instructions on changing your password and answering your NetID questions, see the IRT website.

Phishing

Please be aware of malicious attempts to gain access to your username and password from phishing email messages. Never reply to an email or submit your username or password in response to an email. See the IRT website for more information on phishing.

Christmas break

The IRT Tech Desk will be closed from 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, to 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, along with the university.

IRT Tech Desk hours during J-Term

J-Term hours are updated on the IRT website. During J-Term, the Tech Desk will be open:

• Monday through Thursday – 7:30 a.m.-8 p.m.
• Friday – 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
• Saturday – 8 a.m.-noon
• Sunday – closed
