As chief ethics officer for Best Buy, Kathleen Edmond develops and directs global vision for the company’s ethics and business conduct and is a key partner in the corporate social responsibility work. She helped build the company’s ethics office after joining the company in 2002. Edmond oversees a structure that engages leaders from all over the world, and at all levels of the organization, from store leadership to the board of directors.
Kenneth Goodpaster, Ph.D., holds the David and Barbara Koch Chair in Business Ethics at the University of St. Thomas Opus College og Business. His research in applied philosophy, focusing on the dynamic relationships among three levels of ethical analysis — the person, the organization and the capitalist system — has led to course development, numerous journal publications, encyclopedia articles, and books.
