Current AARC members and students interested in learning how to use free weights properly are invited to a “Training with Dumbbells” orientation session at noon Tuesday, Nov. 8, in the weight room at the Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex.
A fitness room staff member will teach and demonstrate proper exercise technique using dumbbells, as well as offer suggestions for strength-training programs. Working out with dumbbells will help increase strength, muscle tone, balance and coordination, and also will boost the metabolism.
Come to the session dressed in comfortable clothes and be ready to work out and ask questions.
