Tommies vs. Johnnies, Saturday, Oct. 1 – UST students: Be proud, loud, early and respectful.

Tomorrow we renew the greatest rivalry in NCAA Division III football. We are all excited about hosting this game, which has so much history behind it. There are no fence-sitters in this game – you are either a Tommie fan or you’re not!

Let’s make this a day that all fans of the Purple will be proud of and remember: Let’s fill the student section early, be respectful of the Tommies and our opponents, and enjoy the day.

It is so great to be a Tommie and to have a great team to cheer on. That is a combo for a fun day.

Reminders:

• UST undergrad students are admitted free to the game with a valid ID.
• UST faculty and staff are admitted free to the game with a valid ID.
• A total of 2,500 seats have ben erected in the north end zone for Tommie students. Join the Tommie student section and cheer the Tommies on to victory.
• Wear purple.
• Please be respectful in the type of Tommie wear you sport. Shirts of poor taste will not be allowed. Be proud to be a Tommie and support the positive aspects of this rivalry!
• Come early. The gates will open at 11 a.m. for the 1:10 p.m. kickoff!
