If you are an undergraduate student enrolled in 12 or more credits, or a graduate, professional or law student enrolled in nine or more credits, you are required to enter your health insurance coverage in Murphy Online each fall during the university’s annual enrollment period.

If you completed the process last year, you still need to go into Murphy Online to update your health insurance information for 2011-12. The process will take only a minute to complete.

To enter your health insurance coverage information or purchase the annual Aetna Student Health Insurance Plan:

1. Log in to Murphy Online.
2. Select Student Services.
3. Select Student Health Menu.
4. Select Student Health Insurance option and follow the prompts to either:
   • Enter your existing health insurance information (insurer name, insurer phone number and your member identification number) or
   • Purchase the Aetna Plan and print a temporary ID card.

If you do not enter your existing health insurance information or purchase the Aetna Student Health Insurance Plan by Wednesday, Sept. 21, you automatically will be enrolled and billed $1,884 for the annual Aetna Plan (two charges of $942 – on Sept. 22, 2011, and Feb. 22, 2012).
