Graduate programs, a construction update and the university’s budget will be on the agenda at today’s exempt (salaried) employee’s spring meeting.
The meeting, hosted by the Exempt Staff Council, will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 11, in Room 252, Terrence Murphy Hall on the Minneapolis campus, and in Room 304, Murray-Herrick Campus Center, on the St. Paul campus. The speakers will give their presentations in Minneapolis and be telecast to St. Paul.
In addition to the agenda items listed below, information will be available on the Hourcar program and sustainability initiatives.
Last fall, exempt staff members were asked to complete an online survey. The results can be viewed on the Exempt Staff Council Web site. The council reviewed responses from this and other surveys completed by exempt staff and created an agenda with the following topics and speakers:
Graduate Programs – Dr. Susan Huber
Construction Update – Mark Vangsgard
Trustee Cost Task Force – Dr. Mark Dienhart
Budget projections for the current year and next year – Mark Vangsgard
Those who are unable to attend today’s meeting but would like to have a question asked, or who have general questions or thoughts, can e-mail the council. To submit a question or comment anonymously, use the contact form located on the Exempt Staff Web site.
