Drivers to and from St. Thomas’ St. Paul campus will have to work their way around city street construction projects even after classes begin. Prepare for delays and plan alternate routes.

Be aware of the following projects:

• Cretin Avenue will remain closed to through traffic between St. Clair and Grand avenues for at least two more weeks while Goodrich Avenue water main and curb work is completed. A few weeks after Cretin reopens, it will be closed again while similar work is done on Sargent Avenue. Detour routes have not yet been determined.

  Tip: If you travel to the Anderson Parking Facility from the south, plan an alternate route.

• Grand Avenue should be open between Cleveland and Cretin avenues by the end of the week.

• Work on Finn Street between Summit and Grand continues, and curb installation should begin by the middle of the week. The project should be complete in about a month.
