Based on feedback from the UST community, IRT has changed the challenge questions in NetID to sync with the new challenge questions in the Murphy system.
The NetID challenge questions consist of 10 factual questions, five of which must be answered. Correct responses to the NetID challenge questions allow UST account holders to change forgotten or expired passwords on their own without the use of private or sensitive data such as Social Security numbers.
UST account holders will not be able to use the NetID system to change their own passwords if the challenge questions are not set up. NetID challenge questions that had been set up prior to Monday, Aug. 24, will no longer be active. IRT encourages all UST account holders to take a moment to enter their answers to the new challenge questions, and to utilize the NetID system for your password changing needs.
Log into NetID at http://www.stthomas.edu/password to set up your challenge questions.
