    Holy Week worship schedule, Lenten communal reconciliation service announced

    A Lenten communal reconciliation service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, in the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas. The service will include a Liturgy of the Word and time for individual confession and absolution.

    Holy Week

    Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas and the Chapel of St. Thomas More, Minneapolis campus

    In accordance with liturgical norms, Masses and the sacrament of reconciliation will not be held during the day on Thursday, April 5, in the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas and the Chapel of St. Thomas More, Minneapolis campus. Because of Easter Break, liturgies will not be held on April 5, 6, 7 and 8. The 7 a.m. Mass will be held on Easter Monday, April 9, in the Chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas.

    Area churches

    Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 1900 Wellesley Ave. (the usual daily schedule of Masses and confessions will not be held during the Triduum):

    • Holy Thursday, April 5
      Mass of the Lord’s Supper, 7:30 p.m.
      The Adoration Chapel will be closed at 7:30 p.m. and reopen after the 11 a.m. Mass on Easter Sunday.
    • Good Friday, April 6
      Celebration of the Lord’s Passion, 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
    • Holy Saturday, April 7
      The Vigil of Our Lord, 7:30 p.m.
      No 5 p.m. Mass on Holy Saturday
    • Easter Sunday, April 8
      Masses at 7, 8:15 , 9:30 (Steiner Hall), and 11 a.m.
      No 5 p.m. Mass on Easter Sunday

    • Holy Thursday, 7 p.m.

    • Holy Thursday, 7:30 p.m.
    • Good Friday, 12:15 p.m. Stations of the Cross; 3 p.m. Passion with Archbishop Flynn; 7:30 p.m. Passion
    • Holy Saturday Easter Vigil, 8 p.m. with Archbishop Flynn
    • Easter Sunday, 8 a.m., 10 a.m. with Archbishop Flynn, and noon and 5 p.m.
