Entre Today talk on ‘Challenges Emerging Companies Face’ is March 24
The Center for Business Excellence brings you Entre Today – monthly programs featuring “just-in-time” information for the busy entrepreneur.
“Challenges Emerging Companies Face as They Navigate Growth” is the topic for March’s Entre Today program, with featured speaker Dennis Anderson, CEO and founder of Andcor Companies, a venture catalyst company providing human capital solutions to corporate incubators and emerging growth in Minnesota.
It’s not unusual for emerging companies to misstep, detour or dead-end. These events can consume enormous amounts of time, energy and resources. Sometimes, these problems stem from over-funding that often can allow companies to follow a flawed strategy for too long. Other times it’s fully staffing the executive team with the wrong players. And in some instances it’s as simple as the realization that the initial business strategy is not the final business strategy.
Luck aside, successful entrepreneurs recognize that a value proposition is greater than a solitary inspiration, strategy iteration is a reality and that ultimate success requires a world-class team.
In this session, you will learn to identify potential failure modes of emerging companies as well as methods to validate successful emerging business models.
This session will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Friday, March 24, in Room 201, Opus Hall, Minneapolis campus.
The cost is:
