Minneapolis campus students must preregister for fall parking and terminate their spring parking contract
The University of St. Thomas Public Safety and Parking Services will begin preregistration for parking on April 18 for Minneapolis campus students returning in the fall. Preregistration is required to be eligible to receive a fall semester parking contract.
To go along with preregistration, all current ramp contract cards must be returned to Public Safety by May 31. Students who do not return their contract cards may not be eligible for fall semester parking. Returning students may rollover their current card deposit toward their fall parking, or use that deposit toward other alternative forms of transportation. Graduating students also may return their parking contract during this time.
Public Safety will validate all student parking on the date that students return their parking card, so please pull a ticket before coming to see Public Safety.
Alternative transportation
Save money and purchase a Metro Pass for next year. It costs less and allows you unlimited use of the Metro Transit System, which includes the light rail. You also will receive four ramp vouchers per semester for those times you may need to drive. With the price of gas, this is the best way to go.
