Center for Applied Mathematics needs students to conduct research projects
Are you interested in doing research this summer in various areas of applied mathematics? If so, the Center for Applied Mathematics has several research projects posted on its Web site that are in need of good students.
Undergraduate research is a great way to enhance your college experience. You have the opportunity to learn some new mathematics, reinforce concepts you’ve learned in mathematics courses, and you get paid for your work. Employers and graduate schools always are looking for something that sets you apart from other applicants and successful work on a research project can help.
If you are interested in performing research in applied mathematics, check out the CAM Web site. Under Research Projects, click on New/In Progress for a listing of projects needing students. For more information e-mail Patrick Van Fleet or Dedrick Mays.
