Fair Labor Standards Act Web site now available
Here is a followup to the a Sept. 10 Bulletin Today article regarding the Fair Labor Standards Act. Human Resources has created a Web site dedicated to FLSA-related information and resources. Click here for the page.
As mentioned in the column, Human Resources will work with managers and supervisors to update approximately 243 excempt position profiles for compliance with FLSA regulations. Each vice president has been notified as to which job profiles in their areas need to be updated.
To assist managers and supervisors in updating job profiles, Human Resources has created and compiled resources and tools related to FLSA. The following tools and resources can be found on the HR FLSA Web site:
In addition, there is an e-mail link for sending completed job profiles to the Compensation staff. Updated job profiles are due in Human Resources by Wednesday, Dec. 1.
