Homecoming hall competitions announced

Show pride for your hall and win prizes from Chipotle and Subway during homecoming hall competitions sponsored by the Residence Hall Association. A series of three competitions will determine the overall hall champion. The winners will be awarded prizes and a lot of hall pride.

Teams of four are needed. Competitions include a tug of war, a burrito toss and a third event that is yet to be decided.

Here are the competition dates and times:

• Tug of war at 11:45 a.m. (during the convocation hour) Tuesday, Oct. 19, in the lower quad
• Burrito toss at 11:45 a.m. (during the convocation hour) Thursday, Oct. 21, in the lower quad
• Final competition at 5:45 p.m. (right before the pep fest) Friday, Oct. 22
