    Here’s a roundup of recent stories of interest that mention St. Thomas.

Joe Kimball’s column includes the following: “Kinder cuts by Kelly: Mayor Randy Kelly wielded a scissors and made some deep cuts this week, but he wasn’t slashing the city budget: He was cutting women’s hair for charity. Thirty-seven women had their hair cut Monday at the event organized by University of St. Thomas student Katie Ortman.
