Undergrads: Remember first-day attendance policy
Be sure you are withdrawn if you registered for a class you do not plan to take.
University policy states that undergraduate students who do not attend the first day of class may be dropped from the class roster at the discretion of the instructor. Students should not assume that the instructor will drop them from a course if they fail to attend the first day.
University policy also requires undergraduate students who are registered for classes to pay their fees and receive grades for them. It is the students’ responsibility to ensure they are officially withdrawn from any course in which they are registered but do not attend.

Reminders: First-semester, undergraduate day school freshmen must have the signature of their adviser on the Change in Registration form before the Office of the Registrar will process it. Students on a wait list are not officially enrolled; they must get the signature of the instructor on a Change in Registration form and return the form to the Office of the Registrar in Room 106, Aquinas Hall, to become officially enrolled. Students in the School of Continuing Studies should bring their Change in Registration forms to Room 119, O’Shaughnessy Educational Center.
Registration sites and times: Undergraduate day students may add courses through Monday, Feb. 4, and drop courses through Monday, Feb. 11, by one of the following three methods:
Note deadline to drop courses: For undergraduate day students, the last day to drop a course without a notation of "W" on your record is Monday, Feb. 11.
