American Marketing Association
The American Marketing Association will host a speaker from Buca restaurant at its next meeting from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, in Foley Theater.
College Democrats
The College Democrats of St. Thomas organization is looking for students interested in politics and the ideals of the Democratic Party. Anyone who is interested is encouraged to attend an informational meeting at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, in the Fireside Room, Koch Commons.
Also, here are some events planned for the weekend:
- Breast cancer and women’s health issues panel from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, at the Humphrey Institute, University of Minnesota. Cost is $10 for students.
- College Democrats of Minnesota Convention Saturday, Oct. 23, at Coffman Union, University of Minnesota. Registration begins at 9 a.m. The event is free with a student I.D.
