Rental Housing Buyback Program
By 2016 St. Thomas is required to purchase 30 student rental houses in Macalester-Groveland and Merriam Park, to participate in renovating them, and to sell them to owner occupants.
Buyers must agree to the terms of a restrictive covenant, which requires owner-occupancy and prevents full-time students from occupancy unless the reside with a parent or grandparent. To read the covenant, please refer to www.wsnac.net/committeedocuments/covenant/
