A Student Teaching Handbook for the Kodály-Inspired Cooperating Teacher: Seven Weeks of Instructional Practices and Materials

This project is a collection of instructional materials, a Scope and Sequence for Grades Kindergarten - Five, and a set of procedures for implementing a Kodály-based music program with a student teacher during a student teacher experience. The purpose of this project is to help the Kodály-inspired cooperating teacher provide an effective seven-week teaching experience for a student teacher who has limited experience in teaching a sequentially-written curriculum for music literacy. The handbook was tested over seven weeks with a student teacher from the University of Minnesota.
