Development of a Survey Instrument to Facilitate an Identification and Examination of Views Held by Midwest Kodály Music Specialists Regarding Issues Surrounding Auditions in the Elementary School Choir
Holly A. Meester
The elementary school choir is often the first opportunity for students to experience membership in a choir. At many elementary schools, music educators must decide whether to have a select choir or a choir that is open to all students. When making this decision, music educators often look to research or other music educators for advice: however, research on the topic of elementary school choirs is not found.
